Who said breastfeeding makes the baby weight disappear faster? Is that a myth? My youngest is almost 8 months now and I’m still waiting for the “baby fat” to disappear from my belly and my butt. It has crossed my mind that the breastfeeding Nazi’s have created this myth to make women think that they can have many kids, and yet forever stay skinny just by breastfeeding.
I’m getting a bit tired of the muffin top though. Everyday I check and yup, its still there. In some ways, its become a constant in my life; “Hello belly fat, how are you today?” “Are you hungry? What can I get you?”
My child is still breastfeeding, but my muffin top isn’t shrinking. My baby keeps growing and getting chubbier, and so do I. How is this right? Will my lululemon’s be the only thing I can wear from this point on? Should I sell my skinny jeans on eBay? Should I consider liposuction?
These are questions that run thru my mind often…especially while I eat my daily chocolate bar…
